Troopmaster Import

We have been working hard on some new features and one of them includes our new Troopmaster Import.  You can easily convert from Troopmaster by exporting your data and then uploading your data to our site.  Currently we can import scouts, ranks and merit badge information.  This can potentially save you hours of manual entry.

If you would like to test this feature out, please let us know and we will help you through the process.

I'd like to try out the Troopmaster import.  I recently signed up for etrailtoeagle and am excited to get started.  What a great idea!!

All we need you to do is export your data from Troopmaster.  You can find the Export option in Troopmaster under the File menu.  Go ahead and export the data for your Scouts, their ranks and their merit badges.  There will be an option to include the header when you do the export.  Please make sure you select that option.

The end result will be three text files.  Please send those to us at support@etrailtoeagle.com and we will take it from there.  The import process just takes a few minutes.  That will save your hours of input depending on the number of scouts in your troop.

When I go to export It give me three options to choose from.  What one do I choose?

When you are exporting from Troopmaster, it will have an option that says, "Include field names as first line of export".  Make sure you check that box.  

Also, when it asks for a delimiter, use a comma instead of T for TAB.

unable to update scout activity.  "add" key is disabled?! won't allow to add any updates to our scouts.  Tried different computers.
